Extremely helpful & kind service from all the staff of Anna Karolina VII. The captain Edinelson Trindade helped to unload our van that was a bit high for the roof of the ferry. We shipped from Santarem to Belem, a Toyota Hiace van. For 2 people & the van, we paid 1300 Reais. We booked through an agent. The van is 5.2 mts long. We nearly fitted into. The clearance of the loading area is 2.1 mts (the shortest). We had to deflate the tyres. Their assistance to load & unload was just genius!!! They also take bikes (dont know about the price though). The captains Watsapp is +55 92 991116764. The price for a hamock (the standard charge per passenger is fixed at 200 Reais). Even if we were sleeping in our van, we didnt manage to bargain on this but the price for the van. (Initial quote was 1600). From Santarem to Belem it took us exactly 48 hours (2 nights on board).
