Free visit. Guided tour takes about 1 hour. Tours starts every 30 minutes. Need passport to get in. Guide speaks Portuguese, but they provide a written transcript in English/French/etc.. . You get to see the parlement and senate rooms. Interesting architecture. Includes free postcards with free worldwide postage. Weekends you can enter in informal clothing (shorts), weekdays require formal clothing and might be limited if the parliament is in session. Ample free parking in front, also for big rigs.
