We could partially fill our fixed propane tank here. As we have a tube with the correct fitting for the brazilian 45kg bottle (which is the the same as in Peru, see picture), we could use a full 45kg gas bottle, place it upside down and let the liquid gas flow into our tank. The people here are very friendly and helpful. If you happen to have the necessary fitting you can get your tank or bottle filled here. Normally with this method you can fill your tank about 40 to 50%. We did not have to pay for the complete bottle, but only about a third of the price of the full 45kg bottle.
