This is where the tarmac ends when coming from Oiapoque. The road conditions in the first half of the gravel road coming from Oiapoque in direction of Macapá are pretty rough. Lots of potholes, some of them very deep. Nonetheless (during dry season) the road should be possible for any kind of vehicle. If you have a van like a Fiat Ducato without much clearance, expect to be driving very slowly. Plan in multiple days. The second half of the gravel road in direction Macapá is in very good condition. No corrugations or potholes at all. We drive a Landcruiser and it took us about 15 hours from Macapá to Oiapoque. This info is from September 2023 during dry season. I think during wet season it will be a whole different situation.
