This parking lot is directly at the river. R$10 per day.. 7am - 7pm. We arrived mid afternoon and spoke with the owner who let us stay overnight and the next day for R$20 total. The gate is locked at 7pm, there is a cold shower, a couple of palm umbrellas for shade, and the area is well lit at night.. From here you can cross the river by boat or swim/walk if you don't mind getting wet to get to Praia da Guarda do Embaú. The trailhead to access the peninsula is just across the bridge, and there are cafes, restaurants and shops within a few minutes walk. Not many other options in low season, most places are closed or wanted to charge R$35pp. Great location!
