Basic hotel. Feels like it was maybe a love hotel at some point. Small but functioning rooms. Private bathroom. Hot water. Includes basic breakfast. 90 $R if you book on booking.com or 100 $R if you just turn up. Portuguese only spoken. Friendly staff. Close to centre but on quiet street so no real traffic noise. Opposite mosque. Lots of people walking around in the evening, felt quite safe. Many food options close and supermarket in main square. A cheapish option compared to most others. A little cold on a cold June evening as no heating and our room had slight draft through window. Appears no air con either. ? fan available in summer. Secure parking although height limit so only cars and 4x4s without roof top tent will likely fit. Kitchen with water filter, sink and microwave however no cooker etc so basics only.
