Ibitipoca State Park (Parque Estadual de Ibitipoca)

Park with a lot of natural attractions, hiking trails, waterfalls and caves to explore. There’s three main courses, a 5km hike to the main waterfalls called “circuito das Águas”, and two bigger ones that surround the park and have at total 16km called “janela do céu” (heavens window) and another to the pico do peão and there’s remaining of a old church that was destroyed several times by thunderstorms. Entrance fee 20 reais weekdays and 25 weekends, free parking lot outside the park and paid parking lot inside the park (you save a 800m hike to the visitors center). There’s camping area inside the park and costs 60 reais per person. After finish the hike there’s a great warm shower available to the guests next to the restaurant that offers lunch (25 reais).
