Parking lot next to the church. Level ground - hard to find in this city. Secure - Policia Militar just down the road. There is a Kombi parked next to the church, full of tourist merchandise. It is left unattended overnight! (can't be moved as it has completely flat tyres) Some traffic noise overnight. Walking distance to the centre, but uphill all the way back. If you're lucky you might see tiny marmosets running along the power lines.
