The lagoon is stunningly beautiful with crystal clear blue and turquoise water and caves you can swim in and out of. Bring water shoes as the boulders under the water can be sharp. Whenever you stand still the tiny fish will nibble dead skin off your feet, legs and back. It’s a little disconcerting at first, but a unique experience. Now the bad: The campground isn’t much to write home about. If you’re car camping there’s only a few flat spots. Same if you’re tent camping as well. The bathrooms aren’t clean, flip flops highly recommended. There are two outdoor showers though. I just used that. The restaurant food is good but expensive. $30 reais per person for day use, $ 30reais per person to camp.
