Similar to Mirante Morro Pelado but more secluded. the road isn't marked on Google maps but it's driveable all the way to the viewpoints Find the Rua Godofredo Raimundo road past the Parque das Sequoias in Canela and carry on down that. The road continues to the Mirantes but is not marked on Google maps. You pass two junctions. Ignore the right turn about 200 metres past the Sequoias Park and carry on up the hill. At the next fork, where you would take the left to Morro Pelado, take the right. It's a track through a pine forest, no rougher than most dirt tracks and it's not steep. The track can be slippery on a moto but it has a rock base so you won't get stuck in the wet. for the adventurous backpacker or motorcyclist, there are tracks into the trees where you can camp out of sight of anyone. Even so, the mirantes are quiet and not mapped for tourism. After the right fork, you will come to another and a rough track that goes straight up into the woods with clear sky beyond. Take the left or the right, ignore the middle one. They are both driveable and finish in a Mirante big enough for a Camper van or tent. Big rig? Perhaps if it's designed for offroad. I wouldn't take a bus up there. It's probably 5km total from the asphalt in Canela.
