I extended my visa for another 90 days here. (US citizen). Easy process. Bring a hotel reservation or hotel address and a bank or credit card statement. Ask for a “request of payment” paper slip and go to the Casa Loteira (also in iOverlander) only 10 mim away and pay in cash. 110.44 Reais. (You can also pay in any Bank do Brazil or other banks.). After you’ve made the payment come back to the Policia Federal with your payment receipt and passport. 30 min process in total. Now you can go to the Receita Federal to request a vehicle TIP extension. (Also in iOverlander)
