Lauro Loyola Square near the center of Barra Velha, quiet, with some camera monitoring points. It has parking around the square, but not all with shade, several shops, stores and a playground for children in the square. It has a water point near the pier next to the river. The bathroom next to the square in an aerial kiosk/parking lot is not open 24 hours. Free wifi from some shops in the region. Near the entrance to the beach at the roundabout, there is a cold shower next to a restaurant by the sea. It has a tourist information center in the square where you can get a map of the city's attractions, for free.
