Desription how to get to the Cachoeira do Rio do Vermelho: Coming from Santo Amaro da Imperatrice turn left here (see pictures) and follow the bumpy road (2WD accessible) up to a closed gate. You can open it, they just ask you to close it again. Drive further until you pass three little bridges and come to another closed gate. This one is locked, so park your car. Continue on foot through the gate for about 2km. Then turn right (markings on a tree; see pictures) to go steep down to the waterfall for about 1.5km. One way takes about 1.5hrs, but its worth it.
