Parking on a street about 50 meters from the entrance walkway to the basilica. I spent 2 quiet nights. There is no facility, but a snack bar and a snack cart. The idea was for the motorhome point inside the basilica. It costs 90 reais per car. But it was a favela....funk dance and the cambauls!! I went on foot to see the place and noticed a huge lack of organization. There are bathrooms in the support of the basilica but there is no shower. As it was sunny, my batteries were well charged and with water, I didn't have the courage to park there. The place on the street is safe and about 200 meters ahead there is a military police battalion. Vehicles passing straight. I went on 10/10/25.
