For a really rural and organic experience!!We arrived here to try an agroflorestal experience organized by the Florianopolis university. it was very very interesting! Sergio and Elaine ( the owners ) are fantastic, they have both a great passion about organic plants and food. They have a bright light in the eyes when they show you the different plants and how can be used. They produce essential oil, pesto, marmalade and some other organic products. We have passed the night with our van there and it was super ! the tucano often appear ( but we were not lucky ). Our van is a 2wd T4 Volkswagen and we drive up. The road is better from Araçao. Here below the description in Portuguese : Trajeto recomendável - via Armação do Pântano do Sul (subida mais fácil com veículo fraco):Entrar na rua principal da Costa de Cima (Estrada Rozália Paulina Ferreira), 300m a direita após a Madeireira Duarte. Seguir até o ponto final da linha de ônibus TIRIO/Costa de Cima, subir a direita em direção ao Alambique do Zeca e ao Aruna Ecospa (Observar as placas), você já estará na Estrada do Sertão (Estrada Francisco Tomas dos Santos - “ Seu Chico”). Passe o Aruna Ecospa e a entrada para o Alambique do Zeca, continuando logo, logo você avistará a Lagoa do Peri e parte das dunas da Joaquina à direita (de longe). Já está perto do Sítio! Quando começar a descer, fique atenta/o, está chegando! Entre à esquerda ao final da descida mais ingrime e siga (placa “RUA SEM SAÍDA”).
